This is the first one flat antenna all around the world that integrates the Phased Array technology with the multi-beam one and a dynamic tracking system extremely accurate and fast.

This is the largest model in the BBxx product range, designed for wide coverage Ku-band beams, high-reliability and high-bandwidth applications such as cruise ships, live video streaming from heavy-duty Oil&Gas Offshore Operation Support Vessels (OSV). It allows uninterrupted operation up to polar regions or marginal coverage areas.

This is the first antenna in the world to include all electronics into the radome, without any additional parts inside the boat.

Intelligent Switching

Our antennas are OpenAMIP certified and offers automatic beam switching (ABS), selecting the best satellite source for the coverage area. Dual antenna configuration is fully supported as well, using the additional intelligent switchbox. This component provides hitless switching between same type and even different manufacturer antennas using a proprietary and efficient switching logic that can be configured by shadow areas or signal level. No network loss is seen by the customer during switching events.

High Availability

Our antennas are equipped with an embedded computer alerting the user of signal downtime caused by heavy rain, vessel position, lack of power or conditions of the sea. As an optional, the antenna remote controller unit ARCU chooses the best available medium for data transfer, and acts as a satellite backup or out-of-bandwidth maintenance link integrating a 3G UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) modem with a multi-SIM card reader and a WiFi module with diversity antennas.

Powerful Remote Interface

Thanks to our powerful antenna controller, the antenna configuration interface is entirely web-based and can be accessed locally or remotely through the satellite link or other backup connections. Reconfiguring the antenna for deployment on different missions can be done remotely without the need of deploying technicians onsite. Extensive diagnostics of a single antenna or the entire fleet is available via an intuitive web-based server that collects real-time and historical performance data from all ships.
